Drake visits Lil Wayne in the hospital; TMZ called out [News]

Los Angeles, CA – By now you might have heard about the recent health scares Lil Wayne has been dealing with. The 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital Friday evening after suffering from a series of seizures.

Thanks to the TMZ reports suggesting Wayne had been read his last rites, many were under the impression that he was on the verge of dying with family grieving at his bed side. Birdman and Mack Maine used social media to dispute the claims and also call out the gossip column for blowing things out of proportion for ratings. “Shame on TMZ”

Weezy has received a ton of support since being hospitalized and has been visited by his Birdman, Nicki Minaj, other Cash Money fam, NBA star Chris Paul, and his Young Money protégé Drake. Twitter has seen a ton of Wayne support from celebrities and other rappers including Snoop and T.I. to name a few. T.I. also took the time to call out TMZ for their sloppy reporting by tweeting:

“Just holla’d @my Lil bruh Tunechi…& he straight! TMZ some fuck-niggaz for reporting that hoe-ass shit!!! That man daughter is like mines.”

On Saturday TMZ posted this blurry photo of Drake with his head down leaving the hospital. He had no comment on Wayne’s condition.
